Singing, dancing, playing instruments and moving to the beat engages your child’s multiple senses and areas for the brain.
Through finger plays, songs, crafts, discovery and simple phrases, we foster early language development.
We help young children learn to explore and interact with their environment. Toddlers are naturally curious and learn best through hands-on experiences.
Indoor soft mat gym play helps toddlers with balance and coordination skills. They develop their fine and gross motor skills by strengthening their arms, legs and back muscles.
Over and above our unique Montessori learning environment, we have included music and gym activities in our program. Music is a major component in these programs. Music is a great form of stimulation that has been shown to boost brain development. The processing of musical sounds is closely related to the processing of speech sounds: both activate similar brain regions, suggesting that music is a sort of pre-linguistic language. The ability to listen is a pre-requisite to analyzing both speech and musical sounds.
Research shows that our adult vocabulary is largely determined by the speech we hear in our first three years, and that children who listen to music with structured, melodic patterns improve their abilities in complex reasoning tasks and mathematics.
